Virginia Beach
The Wednesday Session at the Oasis on N Great Neck, Virginia Beach starts around 730ish each week. Both players and listeners are welcome. This is open session for all levels. Players can play, pass, or request in turn around the circle. Everyone is asked to follow typical session ettiquette.

Richmond
Bernard Farrell announces the April Saturday Session sat Finn McCool’s in Richmond will be on the first and fourth Saturdays. Musicians and listeners are welcome to come and enjoy the craic. Music stands are available for those who want to use their music.
They are a very open session. They just encourage folks to be mindful of typical session etiquette.

The Rare Olde Times pub in the west of Richmond in Cantebury Shopping Centre features live music on the weekend. A trad tune or two may be heard there. Call ahead for specifics.
Williamsburg
The College of William and Mary Bookstore hosts an Irish music session on Monday nights from 7-
The 1st, 3rd and 5th Mondays are intermediate/advanced full tempo sessions.
The 2nd and 4th Mondays are set aside as beginner sessions where we keep the tempo slow and repeat tunes more often so folks can pick up the tunes.
We are a very open session. We just encourage folks to be mindful of typical session etiquette.
There are some times during the year when the session goes on hiatus. January, February , and early March sessions may be scheduled as rotating house sessions because the bookstore closes early in those months.
