Happy Fall! Well almost!
Friday the 10th at 7 ish is the gathering at the Oasis. We will be showing the rushes of the IIV DVD, having a sing song, a quiz, and I think Gayle is planning a bit of Karoake!!!!
A big thanks to Martin Marron and John Aikin and all the musicias who worked so hard to get the DVD going!
Sept 18 Join Marion Sefton and Katie McCook at the IIV tent at the Southern Virginia Irish Festival (Murphy’s Fest). Lend a hand or buy a lollipop or raffle tickets to help support our efforts throughout the year.
Oct 2 Williamsburg Festival in Rockahock. We need helpers, so please think about coming out for that great event!
John at the Oasis wanted us to announce he has a young trio performing at the pub on Sept 16. Go on out and support our young musicians.
Val Little is at the Conklin’s Irish Rover this weekend, and James West is at Murphy’s. Don’t forget to stop by and buy your tickets for the Halfway to St Patrick’s celeberation at the Norva featuring James and the Fighting Jameson’s. Martin Marron is on at Mo and O’Malleys starting the 14th through the weekend.
If you hear of any new bands, or Irish events, please let us know or add it to the blog!
