Wednesday Session and Friday Gathering are both on
21. April 2010 by admin.
We are hoping to see lots of folks out on Friday so we can make some decisions about what to do over the summer and for the festivals in the fall. We are thinking about a meetup at Murphy’s for breakfast and a meetup at Busch Gardens, and if we can borrow a van, perhaps a trip to Richmond for some of our members who like Anthony the tenor! All events will be determined by the membership. We will continue to have sessions and gatherings throughout the summer at the Oasis and meetups at Conklins, Mo’s, Jack’s, and Murphy’s among others.

Thanks to all who came out today to help at the festival!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWEEEE, what a great day for all the kids and young at heart in Hampton. I will put up the pictures shortly, but right now we are all home for showers and a quick rest before we hit Conklins for the evening. If you are in Norfolk and going to Jack Quinn’s give our own Cindy Kays a big round of applause for being a fine Grace O’Malley once again. We owe you a night at Jack Quinns Cindy, we are just too OLD tonight! Gadyl gave up her birthday to be a fine fairy for TFFM this morning and a fine session player this afternoon, so if you see her, please give her a big happy birthday.
Ann, Tricia, and Barb, what can we say, you always come through when we need you!! Now Larry, we know you were working, but seems you managed to squeeze a bit of fun into the day!

Quick up date for the week
12. April 2010 by admin.
The Hampton International Children’s Festival is this Saturday and we hope to see lots of you at the event and thank those of you have volunteered to show off Ireland. We will be there from 8 am to 6 pm. Come get your photo taken with Grace O’Malley, or dig for potatoes, or hunt for our lost leprechauns ( we left some behind last year!), or even learn how to speak “Irish English”. We have some other surprises. Phil Duffy is arranging the music for Ireland and Cindy Kays will be onboard to help.
Wednesday session is on as usual. James West is on at Mo and O’Malleys midweek. Cindy is at Jack Quinn’s on Saturday. Val Little is on at Murphy’s all week. We have no listings for Glasgow Kiss, but check with Jack Quinn’s for dates. Andy O’Driscoll is down from Chicago to play at H20 on Tuesday and Conklin’s for the rest of the week.
