Sunday afternoon, August 22, our session musicians who have been asked to perform at the Celtic Heritage Stage at the Williamsburg Scottish Festival, will be delighting the crowds at the PUB in Hampton for William Wallace Day in support of fundraising efforts for the festival.

Big thanks to Una and Dermot and Emalee for their work on the heritage tent display.

Chip at Murphy’s told us things are full steam ahead for the SVCF in September. Marion Sefton is going to need  your help to manage the IIV booth. If everyone puts in an hour or two, it will be a grand day for all.

There is a new session at the Montgomery Grill in Portsmouth on alternating. Sunday’s. You might want to stop in at one of the restaurants in Portsmouth before heading out to see the Irish Tenors.

Richmond Flying Squirrels held an Irish Heritage Day this week and featured Turf Fire as the pre game entertainment!!!  What a great idea by the Richmond Irish American Society to get out and about in the community. And they managed to do it on BOBBLEHEAD night, wow!!!!   Looking forward to presenting the Irish Heritage with the folks in Richmond!!!!
